- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high performance RESTful APIs using Spring Boot framework
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers, ensuring best practices and standards are followed
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and project scope
- Architect and implement solutions that are secure, scalable, and maintainable
- Optimize API performance and scalability to meet the demands of a rapidly growing user base
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to services
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8 10 years of experience in Java development, with a deep understanding of the Banking Domain
- Expertise in building RESTful APIs using Spring Boot framework
- Proficiency in Java programming language and object oriented design principles
- Deep knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment
- Good understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in coordinating with infrastructure teams for successful application deployment
