Senior-Level
We are seeking an experienced, technically strong, and quality-focused
Senior Automation Testing
professional to design, develop, maintain, and continuously improve automated testing solutions for enterprise software applications.
This role will work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Managers, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure software quality, reliability, performance, and release readiness.
Current Malaysia-based senior automation roles commonly emphasize automation framework development, API testing, CI/CD integration, database validation, test strategy, and mentoring. (BeBee)
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance scalable automated test frameworks.
- Develop automated test scripts for web, mobile, desktop, API, and backend applications.
- Create comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and automation strategies.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop and execute automated tests using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar frameworks

- Perform API testing and automation using tools such as
Postman, RestAssured, or similar platforms
.
- Conduct database and backend validation using SQL and database testing techniques.
- Integrate automated testing into
CI/CD pipelines
using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Analyze automated test results, investigate failures, identify root causes, and coordinate defect resolution.
- Collaborate closely with Developers and Engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Review business and technical requirements and translate them into comprehensive automated test scenarios.
