About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer to join our growing QA team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in test automation frameworks, solid programming skills in Java, and hands-on experience testing web, mobile, and backend systems across both Agile an
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation frameworks for Web, Mobile, and API testing using industry-standard tools and best practices.
- Build and maintain UI test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Appium for Android/iOS.
- Develop and execute API test automation using REST Assured, including schema validation, parameterization, and authentication.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile ceremonies.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end automation testing.
- Analyze application and server logs to identify root causes of issues and validate system behavior.
- Work closely with developers to debug failures and stabilize automation suites.
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure, GitLab CI) to enable continuous testing.
- Test and validate Kafka events, producers/consumers, and data flows for backend message-driven systems.
- Perform database validations using SQL queries to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Manage test scripts and app versions in version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Review and optimize existing test scripts for reusability, stability, and performance.
