About the Role
ADNOC Group seeks a Senior IT Auditor specializing in Digital Infrastructure to lead audit engagements covering infrastructure security, cloud, network, and cybersecurity. - Perform assigned audit engagements in Digital Infrastructure from preplanning to wrap up, ensuring application of risk and control concepts
- Contribute as SME in periodic Risk Assessments and development of Risk Based Work Plans focusing on Infrastructure Security
- Develop the audit universe to cover Digital Infrastructure and cybersecurity risks
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives like Infrastructure Assurance Plan that impact group wide audit plans
- Perform audits, advisory engagements in highly technical areas of current/emerging technologies
- Develop detailed audit programs / Risk & Control Matrix for assigned audits
- Ensure adequate working papers are documented in the automated Audit Management System
- Prepare audit reports with conclusions and recommendations for Department Manager's review
- Recommend practical enhancements in Digital and Technology governance, risks, and control processes
- Assist in periodic reporting to the Audit Committee and Senior Management on Technology audit activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related Technology discipline
- 8 10 years of relevant experience in D&T or IT internal auditing
- Minimum 5+ years of work experience in Digital Infrastructure and cybersecurity domain
- Advanced technical knowledge of core infrastructure, network components, cloud security, operating systems, databases, virtualization, and security operations
- Strong hands on experience in conducting vulnerability assessments / penetration testing at infrastructure, network, and system layers
- IT audit certification, CISA, is mandatory or willing to obtain within one year
- In depth knowledge of International Professional Practices Framework for IT Assurance (ITAF) and related frameworks (COBIT, ITIL, ISO27000, ISO22301, NIST)
- Experience in managing and tracking time for Internal Audit activities
- Expertise in collecting and analyzing complex data using data analytics tools
- Extensive knowledge of planning and project management

Job Purpose
- Perform assigned audit engagements in the domain of Digital Infrastructure from start to finish, inclusive of preplanning, wrap up activities ensuring application of risk and control concepts.
- Contribute as SME in periodic Risk Assessments and development of Risk Based Work Plans focusing on Infrastructure Security including vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop the audit universe to ensure it covers Digital Infrastructure and cybersecurity risks.
- Review and update the D&T audit universe specifically for Digital Infrastructure and Network.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives (e.g. Infrastructure Assurance Plan) that impact group wide audit plans.
- Perform audits, advisory engagements in highly technical areas of current/emerging technologies.
- Develop detailed audit program / Risk & Control Matrix for assigned audits.
- Ensure adequate working papers are documented in automated Audit Management System.
- Ensure approved audit objectives are met with adequate coverage and sufficient audit evidence.
- Prepare audit report with conclusion and recommendations.
- Recommend practical enhancements in Digital and Technology governance, risks, and control processes.
- Assist in periodic reporting to Audit Committee and Senior Management.
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related Technology discipline.
Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- 8 10 years of relevant experience in D&T or IT internal auditing.
- Minimum 5+ years of work experience in Digital Infrastructure and cybersecurity domain.
- Advance technical knowledge of core infrastructure, network components, cloud security, operating systems, databases, virtualization technologies and security operations.
- Sound knowledge of technology related risks in emerging areas such as Cloud, IoT, Zero Trust, Identity and Access management, digitalization, automation.
- Strong hands on experience in conducting vulnerability assessments / penetration testing at infrastructure, network, and system layers.
- Exposure in reviewing infrastructure platforms hosting AI/ML solutions is an advantage.
- In depth knowledge of Digital processes including business continuity, disaster recovery, enterprise architecture, infrastructure review, access right management, change management, DevOps.
- In depth knowledge of ITAF and related frameworks (COBIT, ITIL, ISO27000, ISO22301, NIST).
- Experience in managing and tracking time for Internal Audit activities.
- Expertise in collecting and analyzing complex data using data analytics tools.
- Extensive knowledge of planning and project management.
- Awareness/knowledge of ERP and Operational Technology (OT) processes and systems (preferred).
Professional Certifications
- IT audit certification, CISA, is mandatory or willing to obtain within one year of joining.
- Other related certifications (GIAC, CISSP, OSCP, CISM, etc.) are preferred.
- Technical certifications (CCNA, CCIE, Azure, CCSK/CCSP, GPEN) are desirable.
