Role Overview
Manage and oversee landscaping operations across residential and mixed-use community common areas.
Ensure effective maintenance service delivery, provider performance, operational efficiency, environmental and safety compliance, and community satisfaction.
Landscaping Operations and Providers
- Manage hardscape and softscape landscaping operations across common areas.
- Oversee appointed landscaping service providers against SLAs, contract requirements, and best practices.
- Review manpower requirements and recommend amendments to optimize operations.
- Monitor contractor performance, identify gaps, and drive continuous service improvement.
Inspections and Maintenance
- Inspect landscaped areas, irrigation systems, lighting, water features, and outdoor furniture for maintenance needs, defects, and safety concerns.
- Coordinate preventive, reactive, and corrective works for planting, irrigation, soil treatment, turf, pruning, pest control, and hardscape repairs.
- Manage work orders, liaise with vendors, and ensure timely and quality service execution.
Projects and Stakeholders
- Support landscaping enhancements, refurbishments, replanting, irrigation upgrades, and seasonal beautification from planning through handover.
- Address landscaping inquiries from residents, tenants, and stakeholders and provide updates on works, improvements, and disruptions.
Sustainability and Assets
- Monitor irrigation water consumption and support water-saving, efficient irrigation, and sustainable landscaping initiatives.
- Monitor inventory of plants, materials, equipment, tools, and consumables and support procurement planning.
Compliance and QHSE
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and Modon Community Management policies.
- Lead QHSE procedures aligned with ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards.
- Ensure hazard identification, risk assessment, controls, incident reporting, investigations, audits, and corrective actions are completed.
Emergency Readiness and Reporting
- Support emergency readiness for outdoor areas, access routes, assembly points, and landscape-related risks.
- Maintain landscaping records and prepare reports on condition, maintenance, KPIs, water usage, and service provider performance.
- Assist the Senior Manager - Technical with periodic landscaping management and performance reports.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Engineering, Agriculture/Horticulture Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5–8 years of relevant landscaping services experience, preferably in mixed-use developments or large-scale communities.
- Knowledge of landscaping systems, local authority regulations, environmental standards, CAFM tools, MS Office, and reporting tools.
- AutoCAD proficiency is preferred; relevant UAE landscaping, irrigation, sustainability, or environmental certifications are advantageous.
