Role Overview

PwC’s Financial Services Consulting insurance team helps clients solve complex business issues from strategy through execution.

The Senior Associate will analyze client needs, develop operational solutions, and provide recommendations for insurance-sector organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Research client businesses and technology strategies through interviews, research, and hypothesis testing.
  • Conduct market research and quantitative and qualitative analyses and synthesize complex data into insights.
  • Deliver projects on time and within budget through strong team performance and stakeholder management.
  • Integrate people, process, and technology or data components into value-added client solutions.
  • Build collaborative client relationships and develop proposals, white papers, and points of view.
  • Mentor and coach team members, provide feedback, and contribute to employee engagement and PwC culture.

Required Qualifications

  • Working experience in consulting services or strategic projects within a financial services organization.
  • Interest in emerging insurance and financial services trends, with the ability to manage ambiguity and tight timelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a self-motivated approach to client and team work.
  • Commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of insurance industry products and distribution is an asset.
  • Hands-on exposure to insurance sales, underwriting, claims, customer administration, or reporting is an asset.
  • Experience with target operating models, business capabilities, business cases, technology strategy, data strategy, or transformation is preferred.
  • Familiarity with technology architecture, automation, data management, governance, and business or technical systems is preferred.
  • A bachelor’s degree in economics, commerce, accountancy, or a related field, or an MBA, is preferred.

Compensation

  • The posted hiring salary range is $84,700 to $134,700.
  • Eligible employees may participate in variable incentive pay programs.
