Role Overview

Support operations consulting engagements by translating planning and readiness questions into analytical outputs for operational decisions.

Work with managers and senior team members on analytical execution, communication, and client outcomes.

Analytical Problem Solving

  • Structure operational, logistics, and planning challenges under uncertainty.
  • Analyze trade-offs involving capacity, inventory, risk, service levels, and timing.
  • Apply quantitative techniques with appropriate rigor under guidance.

Modelling and Analysis

  • Build supply chain network, flow, inventory, capacity, throughput, and bottleneck analyses.
  • Perform scenario and probabilistic analysis using simulation.
  • Test models and conduct sensitivity analysis and validation.

Technology and Tools

  • Develop and maintain analytics code, models, and documentation using tools that may include Python, R, SQL, optimization solvers, simulation libraries, and enterprise or cloud data platforms.
  • Work with data from multiple systems and document business rules, data requirements, process flows, and reporting logic.

Team and Stakeholder Support

  • Collaborate within project teams to deliver high-quality analytical outputs.
  • Prepare materials and insights for client discussions.
  • Flag data, modelling, and assumption risks to senior team members.
  • Work effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • A degree in operations, industrial or systems engineering, computer science, or a closely related quantitative field is required.
  • At least five years of relevant experience is required.
  • Experience applying quantitative or analytical techniques to operations, supply chain, or planning problems is required.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills are required.

Clearance

  • Security clearance is mandatory for staff engaged on the assignments and becomes a condition of employment if an offer is made.
