Responsibilities
- Review and coordinate architectural designs prepared by consultants across all stages (Concept, Schematic, Detailed, IFC)
- Ensure designs align with project vision, functional requirements, sales strategy, cost targets, and feasibility
- Coordinate between architecture, structural, MEP, landscape, interior design, and façade consultants
- Ensure architectural design complies with Dubai Municipality regulations, Dubai Building Code, UAE Fire Code, and Green Building Regulations
- Support value engineering and design optimization to meet budget constraints
- Review and validate architectural tender documentation including drawings, specifications, and BOQ
- Conduct site inspections to verify finishes quality, architectural detailing, façade implementation, and interior execution
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and mock ups
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from a recognized university
- Minimum 5–8 years UAE experience in architectural design or design management
- Experience working on residential or mixed use developments
- Strong exposure to Dubai authority approval processes
- Experience coordinating with structural and MEP disciplines
- Experience supporting projects through design and construction phases
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, SketchUp or Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office

Role Purpose
- The Architect will act as the design guardian for architectural quality, functionality, and compliance.
- The role focuses on design management from the developer side, ensuring architectural solutions align with project vision, authority requirements, cost targets, and construction practicality throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities Pre Contract Phase
- Review and coordinate architectural designs prepared by consultants across all stages: Concept, Schematic, Detailed, IFC.
- Ensure designs align with project vision, functional requirements, sales strategy, cost targets, and feasibility.
- Validate unit layouts, circulation, core planning, building massing, façade concepts, and vertical transportation.
- Ensure proper coordination between architecture, structural, MEP, landscape, interior design, and façade consultants.
- Identify and resolve design clashes, spatial conflicts, and buildability risks.
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations, Dubai Building Code, UAE Fire Code, and Green Building Regulations.
- Support value engineering and design optimization to meet budget constraints.
- Review and validate architectural tender documentation including drawings, specifications, finishing schedules, material selections, and BOQ.
Key Responsibilities Post Contract Phase
- Ensure construction works comply with approved architectural design through regular site inspections.
- Review and approve architectural shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and mock ups.
- Review architectural RFIs and provide technical clarifications.
- Coordinate with consultants and contractors to resolve design queries and site technical challenges.
- Ensure architectural quality standards are maintained throughout construction.
- Conduct architectural inspections during pre handover, snagging, and final completion stages.
- Review and approve as built drawings, material warranties, and completion documentation.
- Monitor architectural performance during Defects Liability Period and coordinate corrective actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from a recognized university.
- Minimum 5–8 years UAE experience in architectural design or design management.
- Experience working on residential or mixed use developments.
- Strong exposure to Dubai authority approval processes.
- Experience coordinating with structural and MEP disciplines.
