This is a Senior Analyst role focused on finance, inventory, data, and operations across a complex distribution network.
The role owns inventory control processes and financial data, with responsibility for inventory accuracy, reporting, and system enhancements.
The position is a six-month contract.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and reconcile enterprise inventory between the financial inventory system of record, RMS, and the warehouse management system, WMS.
- Execute financial inventory adjustments for distribution center locations and operate inventory-related SOX controls.
- Act as product owner for inventory intelligence and build inventory health reporting.
- Lead cross-functional meetings to review inventory key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with inventory systems, finance, distribution center operations, and internal and external auditors.
- Identify, test, and launch system enhancements affecting financial and inventory systems.
- Evolve and maintain distribution center processes and support new distribution center launches.
Candidate requirements
- University degree.
- Business experience relating to inventory management.
- Power BI and Microsoft Excel expertise, including efficient work with large and complex data files.
- Experience with executive-level reporting and presentations.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Experience owning SOX controls as the control operator.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
Compensation
- Compensation is CAD 50 to CAD 55 per hour plus 4% vacation pay.
Workplace
- The role follows a hybrid schedule with four days onsite in Vancouver and one remote day.
