This is a six-month contract Product Manager role supporting an enterprise observability technology team.
The Product Manager will support an Enterprise Observability team and own a chargeback application for AI token consumption.
The role works across application teams, architecture, security, and leadership to improve governance and cost management.
What you’ll do
- Own product vision and roadmaps for Datadog, Splunk, and Edge Delta observability platforms.
- Drive governance and cost-management capabilities for the growing AI-powered engineering practice.
- Improve policy consistency, license management, usage compliance, and audit readiness.
- Translate technical and platform concerns into language appropriate for executive, compliance, and risk audiences.
- Present to stakeholders, run alignment sessions, and simplify technical or data concepts for non-technical audiences.
What you bring
- At least two years of Product Manager experience, ideally in retail or a related technical environment.
- Strong business-facing communication skills and the ability to present, facilitate alignment, and simplify technical concepts.
- Working knowledge of data flows between connected systems and tools such as VibeIQ, Illustrator, and Anaplan.
- A background in merchandising, design, or regional merchandising is a strong asset but not required.
- Regional merchandising experience is especially valuable for assortment modernization, while digital product creation experience is a nice-to-have for global merchandising and design.
Work environment
- The client is located in downtown Vancouver and the opening description states that the role is primarily on site.
- The client describes a hybrid work environment with three to four days per week in the office.
- The offices are newly renovated and located close to rapid transit.
Compensation
- The role pays CAD 65–75 per hour.
