- Prepare business case summaries and recommendations for potential transactions
- Gather data and perform financial analysis and modeling to evaluate acquisition viability and valuation
- Understand our business and surface innovative ideas and opportunities for Lightspeed to consider pursuing
- Support deal documentation, due diligence, transaction closing and post merger integration
- Lead and support special projects
Requirements
- University degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or similar
- Relevant M&A experience in investment banking, corporate development, transaction services/advisory, private equity, etc.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and valuation
- Fluency in English as a working language
- Professional designation (CPA/CBV/CFA) completion or in pursuit (preferred)
- Experience in a high growth, technology company (preferred)
- Experience with SaaS businesses and relevant industry experience (preferred)

What You Need To Bring
- University degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or similar
- Self starter with sense of ownership and ability to work under pressure
- Relevant M&A experience in investment banking, corporate development, transaction services/advisory, private equity, etc.
- Effective teamwork and excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and valuation
- Ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality
- Fluency in English as a working language
