Senior AI Cloud Architect

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Own cloud and solution architecture across application, data, integration, security, and AI layers.
• Define Azure architecture for compute, storage, networking, databases, and AI services.
• Establish secure integration with enterprise data platforms and Azure OpenAI services.
• Ensure cybersecurity, data governance, data residency, and AI governance compliance.
• Define architecture principles, patterns, non-functional requirements, and deployment standards.
• Collaborate with AI, DevOps, infrastructure, and application engineering teams.
• Review designs and maintain alignment with target architecture.
• Address scalability, performance, resilience, observability, and cost optimization.
• Support presales, technical estimates, architecture presentations, and solution workshops.
• Identify risks, dependencies, quotas, connectivity issues, and AI service constraints.

Requirements

• Extensive experience architecting enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure solutions.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Deep knowledge of Azure networking, IAM, security, governance, and monitoring.
• Experience designing cloud-native applications and enterprise integration architectures.
• Familiarity with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI services, or AI Foundry.
• Strong expertise in relational databases, data platforms, APIs, and integration design.
• Knowledge of scalability, high availability, and cost-efficiency architecture practices.
• Experience defining and enforcing architecture governance and non-functional requirements.
• Excellent communication with technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience with delivery support, technical estimates, and presales input.

Nice to Have

• Enterprise Agentic AI or RAG-based solution implementation experience.
• Background in highly regulated or security-focused environments.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric as a future migration option.
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure AI Engineer certification.
• Familiarity with human-in-the-loop AI solutions or enterprise knowledge bases.
• Oil and gas, energy, or industrial industry experience.
• Arabic language proficiency.
