The Department of Commerce's Office of Acquisition Management (OAM) is seeking a Senior Acquisition Policy Advisor to support the Department's effort to update its acquisition regulations, policies, and procedures in alignment with codified changes to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) resulting from the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO). This role will work closely with the Director of OAM, who serves as the Department's Procurement Executive, to assess, plan, and draft the policy updates needed to bring DOC's acquisition framework into alignment with the RFO.
Responsibilities:
**Conduct a comprehensive assessment** of the changes required to align DOC's existing acquisition regulations, policies, and procedures with the RFO.
