Role Overview

  • The Saudi business employs circa 475 staff across Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Natural resource sectors.
  • Vacancy for a Senior Accountant to manage Finance function and be a Business Partner to local leadership team.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified and technically strong accountant with at least 5 years post qualification experience.
  • Experience in preparing Management Accounts, Forecasts, Project Accounting and acting as a Business Partner.
  • Strong team player with experience in conflicting pressures and heavy workloads.
  • Able to work on own initiative for unusual and ad hoc requirements.
  • Frequent interaction with senior management; strong communication skills required.
  • Minimum 5 years post qualified experience, ideally KSA based with MNC consultancy/construction industry experience.

Accounting & Reporting

  • Deliver clear & accurate month end reporting requirements to timetable.
  • Work with Commission Leads and Finance Leads to ensure accurate Management Accounts, Financial reports & Forecasts.
  • Business Partnering, Project profitability, Project Revenue Trackers, Project Accounting & WIP analysis.
  • Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are maintained with reconciling variances articulated.
  • Support ad hoc month end reporting including commentary for variance analysis.
  • Revenue Trackers, Income Statement accurately recorded and maintained.
  • Assist with annual statutory audit and annual Budget submission.
  • Process General Ledger journal transactions for Income Statement and Balance Sheet.
  • Client invoicing at critical time requiring management of conflicting time and workload pressures.
  • Intercompany account reconciliations with relevant action taken.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies both external and internal.

Payroll

  • Support preparation of monthly payroll.
  • Generation of payroll journals and relevant payroll recons.
  • Responding to payroll queries as and when required.

Tax

  • Good knowledge of KSA VAT and Tax laws and practices will be a significant advantage.
