Position Overview
eSense is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mid/Senior Accountant.
The role requires strong accounting knowledge, analytical ability, and effectiveness in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounting cycle, including journal entries, the general ledger, and financial closing.
- Handle Zakat, Value Added Tax, and Withholding Tax under ZATCA regulations.
- Prepare, review, and submit tax and Zakat returns on time.
- Ensure proper accounting treatment and approvals for financial transactions.
- Coordinate with external and internal auditors and provide documents and explanations.
- Prepare periodic financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and local statutory requirements.
- Work efficiently with ERP and accounting systems.
- Support management with financial analysis and decision-making.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- At least five years of relevant accounting experience is required.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are required.
- High attention to detail and accuracy are required.
Preferred Qualifications
- CMA certification is preferred.
- Prior experience in IT or technology companies is highly preferred.
