About the Role
Turner & Townsend is hiring a Senior Accountant to join their KSA business in Riyadh. The role involves preparing management accounts, forecasts, project accounting, and acting as a business partner to local leadership.

Responsibilities
- Deliver clear and accurate month end reporting requirements to timetable
- Prepare management accounts, financial reports, and forecasts
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and manage reconciling variances
- Support annual statutory audit and budget submission
- Process General Ledger journal transactions
- Handle client invoicing and intercompany account reconciliations
- Support preparation of monthly payroll and respond to payroll queries
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with at least 5 years post qualification experience
- Experience preparing management accounts, forecasts, and project accounting
- Strong Excel skills
- Good knowledge of KSA VAT and tax laws
- Experience in MNC consultancy/construction industry preferred

Job Purpose
- Senior Accountant reporting to the KSA Finance Director.
- We require a qualified and technically strong accountant with at least 5 years post qualification experience that includes preparing Management Accounts, Forecasts, Project Accounting and will act as a Business Partner.
Key Selected Responsibilities
- Deliver clear & accurate month end reporting requirements to timetable.
- Business Partnering, Project profitability, Project Revenue Trackers, Project Accounting & WIP analysis.
- Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are maintained with any reconciling variances articulated.
- Supporting other ad hoc month end reporting in line with group timetable.
- Revenue Trackers, Income Statement accurately recorded and maintained.
- Assisting with annual statutory audit.
- Support the annual Budget submission.
- Processing General Ledger journal transactions.
- Client invoicing – a critical requirement.
- Intercompany account reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies.
- Support preparation of monthly payroll.
Core Behavioural Skills
- A challenging mind set, analytical, methodical with the ability to investigate and interrogate data. (Strong excel skills).
- Confident accounting skills (qualified, CIMA, ACCA and equivalent, with post qualified experience).
- Good organisational skills, used to managing and prioritising both own and others workload.
- Must be comfortable with working in a fast moving, dynamic environment.
- Team development focus and a team player.
- Strong communication skills and good interpersonal skills to manage business partnering relationships.
