Senior Accountant – Qatar

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Handle rental income, tenant accounts, receivables, and payables.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and account reconciliations.
• Monitor outstanding rents and follow up on receivables.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, management accounts, and cash-flow reports.
• Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations.
• Manage property-related expenses and supplier accounts.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and month-end and year-end closing.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, tenants, suppliers, and management.
• Ensure documentation and compliance with applicable Qatar financial and tax requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum five years of relevant accounting experience.
• Real estate or property management accounting experience is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Transferable NOC or valid Qatar work status is preferred.
• Immediate joining is highly preferred.

Compensation

• Pay starts from QAR 2,000 per month.
