A mid-sized manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support accurate financial reporting, cost control, and accounting practices.
The role is based in Doha, Qatar, and is within the finance team.
Main tasks
- Oversee month-end and year-end financial close processes while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage the general ledger, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial variance analysis.
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, and manufacturing cost analyses for the Finance Manager.
- Use advanced ERP systems such as Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems.
- Monitor inventory valuation, fixed assets, and production costs for accurate COGS reporting.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and provide required documentation.
- Ensure adherence to Qatar financial regulations, tax laws, and statutory reporting requirements.
Candidate requirements
- 4 to 7 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems such as Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems.
- Fluent Arabic and English, written and spoken.
- Currently residing inside Qatar and available to join immediately.
Compensation
- Salary is up to QR 12,000 as a monthly package.
Schedule
- The position has a five-day workweek.
