Role Overview
Sealy Mattress Middle East is seeking a Senior Accountant for its finance team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The role owns day-to-day general ledger workflows, product costing mechanisms, and asset registries.
The position connects operational accounting with financial compliance and supports retail and manufacturing divisions.
Workplace and Employment
- The role is full-time and based on-site at the regional headquarters in Industrial City, Phase 5, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Financial Reporting and Compliance
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes and prepare IFRS-compliant financial statements.
- Oversee fixed assets, inventory valuations, and audit workflows.
- Handle ZATCA-compliant VAT, Zakat, and corporate tax filings alongside e-invoicing data integrity.
Operations and Controls
- Monitor cash flows, oversee payables and receivables, and review payroll through the Saudi Madad portal.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams on cost variances and maintain internal control frameworks.
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of five years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in manufacturing, retail, or FMCG.
- Proficiency in Tier-1 ERP systems, advanced Excel, and relevant Saudi portals including ZATCA and Madad.
- Native Arabic and professional English are required.
- SOCPA, CMA, or ACCA credentials are a plus.
