Sealy Mattress Middle East is seeking a senior Public Relations Officer or Government Relations Officer in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The role manages external corporate affairs and serves as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies, ministerial authorities, and municipal offices.
The position supports regulatory compliance for manufacturing, retail showroom, and corporate workforce operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the company and maintain relationships with MHRSD, the Ministry of Commerce, GOSI, the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce, and other government entities.
- Process employee documentation, including Muqeem and Qiwa operations, work permits, Iqama renewals, and business, work, exit, and re-entry visas.
- Oversee Saudization and Nitaqat compliance.
- Renew commercial registrations, municipality licenses, civil defense certificates, and industrial permits.
- Resolve customs delays, labor disputes, regulatory violations, and other administrative hurdles.
- Update executive leadership on changes to Saudi labor, commercial, and industrial regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications
- At least 8 years of direct PRO or Government Relations Officer experience in a major manufacturing, retail, or corporate environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Absher, Muqeem, Qiwa, Madad, Balady, and Saber government portals.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Native Arabic fluency and professional written and spoken English.
- Valid Saudi driving license and personal vehicle for daily visits to government agencies.
- Permanent residence in Jeddah with familiarity with local government branch offices.
