Position Overview
Joga Ram General Trading L.L.C. is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant for its Finance and Accounts department.
The role oversees accounting operations across multiple business entities and reports to the Finance Manager or Financial Controller.
The position requires 4–6 years of accounting experience and independent management of accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain books of accounts across multiple group entities.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closes and prepare financial statements and management reports.
- Reconcile bank, intercompany, supplier, customer, and general ledger accounts.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable, and process journals, accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets.
- Ensure UAE VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory compliance.
- Coordinate audits, prepare budgets and forecasts, and analyze variances.
- Support policies, internal controls, process improvements, payroll accounting, and finance-related liaison work.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
