Role Overview
JR Group is seeking a Project Coordinator to coordinate fit-out and joinery workstreams from concept through completion.
The role connects clients, designers, engineers, site teams, and the joinery production team to keep work on time and within scope.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate communication and workflows among clients, design teams, engineering and site teams, and joinery production.
- Track timelines, milestones, and deliverables across fit-out and joinery scopes, flagging delays proactively.
- Schedule client meetings, design reviews, and site and joinery coordination meetings.
- Maintain drawings, shop drawings, approvals, change orders, and project correspondence.
- Align joinery specifications, materials, and timelines with the fit-out program.
- Prepare progress updates and status reports for management and clients.
- Support procurement of materials and finishes, including veneers, MDF grades, and hardware.
- Communicate client requirements across design, engineering, and joinery teams.
- Assist with project and production issues and escalate where necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of project coordination experience in fit-out, joinery, interior design, or construction.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills across overlapping fit-out and joinery timelines.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to read and understand architectural, interior, and joinery/shop drawings.
- Strong interpersonal skills for managing design, site, and production stakeholders.
- Arabic or Hindi and familiarity with project management tools are a plus.
Compensation
- The description header states AED 6,000 per month.
- The payment section states AED 4,000–AED 5,000 per month.
