Project Coordinator role coordinating fit-out and joinery workstreams from concept through completion in Dubai.
The role links clients, designers, engineers, site teams, and the joinery production unit to keep work aligned, on time, and within scope.
The position is full-time and requires in-person work.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate communication and workflow between clients, design teams, engineering and site teams, and joinery production throughout the project lifecycle.
- Track timelines, milestones, and deliverables across fit-out and joinery scopes and flag delays or issues proactively.
- Schedule client meetings, design reviews, and site or joinery coordination meetings.
- Maintain drawings, shop drawings, approvals, change orders, correspondence, and other project documentation.
- Liaise with the joinery workshop to align specifications, materials, and timelines with the fit-out program.
- Prepare progress updates and status reports for management and clients.
- Support procurement coordination for materials and finishes, including veneers, MDF grades, and hardware.
- Communicate client requirements between design, engineering, and joinery teams and assist with resolving project and production issues.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in interior design, architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- One to three years of project coordination experience in fit-out, joinery, interior design, or construction.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills for overlapping fit-out and joinery timelines.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; Arabic or Hindi is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand architectural, interior, and joinery shop drawings.
- Strong interpersonal skills for managing stakeholders across design, site, and production teams.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 4,000 to AED 5,000 per month.
