Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including vehicle sales reconciliations, trade ins, bank reconciliations, and cash management
- Monitor and coordinate settlement of trade finance and floorplan facilities to optimize cash utilization
- Maintain accurate general ledger records, ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset accounting, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial reports, schedules, and management accounts
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial performance monitoring
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of UAE VAT returns
- Support audit processes and maintain compliance with statutory, tax, and financial reporting obligations
- Collaborate with Finance Leadership to enhance reporting capabilities, process efficiencies, and data driven decision making
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Minimum 4 years of accounting experience
- At least 2 years within a UAE automotive dealership environment
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA, or active progression toward certification highly regarded
- Strong working knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, dealership accounting practices, and inventory financing structures
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems
- Experience with financial reporting tools and business intelligence platforms advantageous

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including vehicle sales reconciliations, trade ins, bank reconciliations, and cash management.
- Monitor and coordinate the settlement of trade finance and floorplan facilities to support efficient cash utilization and minimize financing costs.
- Maintain accurate and up to date general ledger records, ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset accounting, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, schedules, and management accounts to support decision making and business performance analysis.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial performance monitoring.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of UAE VAT returns and related regulatory requirements.
- Support audit processes and maintain full compliance with statutory, tax, and financial reporting obligations.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years within a UAE automotive dealership environment.
