Job Summary
DNB Construction LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage accounting operations and financial reporting within a construction business.
The role requires experience in construction accounting, cost control, budgeting, project-based accounting, subcontractor payments, and UAE financial compliance.
The position is full-time and based in Dubai, UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare periodic financial statements and management reports.
- Handle project-based accounting and monitor project costs, budgets, and profitability.
- Track project expenses, material costs, subcontractor invoices, and supplier payments.
- Monitor cash flow, payment schedules, and financial obligations.
- Prepare budgets, cost forecasts, and variance analysis for construction projects.
- Coordinate payroll, reimbursements, and final settlement calculations.
- Ensure UAE VAT, tax filing, and statutory compliance.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and prepare documentation.
- Monitor receivable collections and outstanding customer payments.
- Maintain fixed asset, depreciation, and inventory accounting records.
- Supervise junior accounting staff and provide guidance.
