Role Overview
DNB Construction LLC is seeking a Legal Associate with 5–6 years of relevant UAE legal experience.
The required background is specifically within a UAE construction or contracting company.
The role is in the construction and contracting industry and is full-time.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day legal matters for construction and contracting activities.
- Draft, review, and negotiate construction, subcontract, consultancy, and commercial agreements.
- Assess contractual terms and recommend responses to legal and commercial risks.
- Handle claims, disputes, notices, variations, extensions of time, and contractual correspondence.
- Coordinate with counsel, consultants, subcontractors, clients, and government authorities.
- Support labour, commercial, corporate, and regulatory legal matters.
- Maintain legal records and advise management and project teams.
- Monitor contractual obligations, deadlines, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- 5–6 years of UAE legal experience is mandatory.
- Experience in a UAE construction or contracting company is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of UAE construction contracts, commercial law, and contractual claims and disputes is required.
- Contract drafting, review, negotiation, and risk assessment experience is required.
- FIDIC contracts knowledge is highly preferred.
- Excellent English communication, drafting, and negotiation skills are required.
- An LLB or equivalent Law degree is required.
- Strong attention to detail and independent working ability are required.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 4,500 to AED 8,266.88 per month.
Workplace
- The work location is in person.
