Role Overview
The employer is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join its Dubai team.
The role focuses on accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, invoicing, general accounting, and accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, primarily accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process supplier invoices, verify supporting documents, and ensure timely payments.
- Prepare customer invoices, monitor receivables, follow up on overdue payments, and maintain ageing reports.
- Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
- Record accounting transactions and prepare account statements.
- Assist with monthly closing, financial reports, management reports, and accounting analysis.
- Monitor expenses, payments, receipts, and other financial transactions.
- Coordinate with internal teams, customers, and vendors on billing and payment matters.
- Maintain financial records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable UAE regulations.
- Assist with audit requirements and provide requested financial documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
