Accounting Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, primarily accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process supplier invoices, verify supporting documents, and ensure timely payments.
- Prepare and issue customer invoices and monitor outstanding receivables.
- Follow up on overdue customer payments and maintain ageing reports.
- Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
- Record accounting transactions in the accounting system.
- Prepare AP/AR ageing reports and regular account statements.
Closing and Financial Support
- Assist with monthly closing activities and timely completion of accounting entries.
- Monitor expenses, payments, receipts, and other financial transactions.
- Coordinate with internal teams, customers, and vendors regarding billing and payment matters.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Assist with financial and management reports.
- Support the Finance Manager or management with accounting analysis and other financial requirements.
Compliance and Audit
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable UAE regulations.
- Assist with audit requirements and provide necessary financial documents and information.
Work Arrangement
- Work location is in person.
