Job Description
Maintain accounting standards, internal controls, financial transactions, and accounting procedures.
Coordinate accounting functions and ensure accurate and timely processing.
Support financial reporting, audit preparation, tax compliance, and accounting process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Record journal entries, accruals, and period-end closing entries.
- Prepare vendor payments and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting.
- Assist with annual audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors.
- Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and compliance issues.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with applicable tax requirements.
- Improve accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
- Provide support and guidance to junior accounting staff.
- Perform other assigned accounting duties.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- MBA or a professional certification such as CPA or CA is an advantage.
