Role Overview
The role is Senior Accountant.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enforce accounting standards, internal controls, financial transactions, and accounting procedures.
- Coordinate accounting functions and ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Record journal entries, accruals, and period-end closing entries.
- Prepare vendor payments and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting, including P&L statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with annual audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors.
- Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and compliance issues.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with applicable tax requirements.
- Improve accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
- Provide support and guidance to junior accounting staff.
- Perform other accounting duties as required or assigned.
