Job Summary
Senior Accountant role requiring 6–7 years of relevant experience.
Preferred industry experience includes construction, trading, and real estate.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
- Prepare and maintain the general ledger, journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Perform bank, supplier, customer, and account reconciliations.
- Monitor receivables, payables, outstanding payments, and collections.
- Manage accounting for construction projects, trading transactions, and real estate activities.
- Prepare project-wise cost reports, expense analyses, and profitability statements.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, and financial planning.
- Verify invoices, payment requests, purchase documents, receipts, and supporting documents.
- Understand legal structures and ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and applicable accounting requirements.
Requirements
- 6–7 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Construction, trading, and real estate industry experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of legal structures is required.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and applicable accounting requirements.
Compensation
- Pay is listed as AED 2,000–5,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person in Dubai, UAE.
