Role Overview
Oversee day-to-day financial transactions, accounting records, financial reporting, and overall financial operations.
Provide guidance and oversight to junior accounting staff while supporting compliance with UAE accounting standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate daily financial records and bookkeeping.
- Manage invoicing, payments, and accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank statements, monitor cash flow, and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage payroll processing, VAT filings, and monthly or quarterly financial reporting.
- Lead internal and external audit preparation and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for management decision-making.
- Supervise, guide, and review junior accountants and accounting staff.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
- Complete additional duties assigned by the reporting manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum four years of accounting experience in the UAE is mandatory.
- Prior construction or interior fit-out industry experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems, or similar accounting software.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, leadership, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Professional certification such as CMA, ACCA, or CPA is an advantage.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 4,000 to AED 6,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
