About the Role
The HSE Officer will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards at fit-out project sites.
The role involves ensuring compliance with company policies, local regulations, and international best practices to promote a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and enforce the company’s HSE policies, procedures, and standards across all fit-out project sites.
- Conduct daily site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Develop and deliver HSE induction and training programs for new employees, subcontractors, and site personnel.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with local health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare and maintain HSE documentation, including risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), incident reports, and inspection checklists.
- Investigate and report all accidents, incidents, and near misses, recommending preventive measures.
- Conduct toolbox talks and regular safety meetings with site teams.
- Coordinate emergency drills and ensure availability of first aid and firefighting equipment.
- Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and clients on HSE matters to ensure continuous improvement.
- Conduct internal and external audits related to HSE compliance.
