Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our hotel team. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting experience within the hotel/hospitality industry and a good understanding of hotel accounting operations, outlet revenue, inventory, and daily financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor daily accounting operations for the hotel and its outlets.
- Handle bank-related work, including bank reconciliation, deposits, payments, and other banking transactions.
- Manage and monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
- Conduct regular inventory checks and controls for hotel departments and F&B outlets.
- Check rate variances and investigate discrepancies in room rates and revenue.
- Review no-shows, cancellations, complimentary rooms, discounts, and other room-related adjustments.
- Check and monitor PM rooms and ensure all postings and charges are properly supported and accounted for.
- Reconcile hotel revenue, outlet sales, and accounting records.
- Identify discrepancies and coordinate with the relevant departments for correction.
- Assist with month-end closing, financial reports, and other accounting requirements.
- Support the Accounts Manager with additional accounting and financial tasks as required.
