Role Overview

Grand Central Hotel is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor for its hotel team.

The role focuses on banquet operations, restaurant sales, upselling, guest service, daily operations, team leadership, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily food and beverage operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Manage and coordinate banquet events, functions, meetings, and special occasions.
  • Lead and supervise F&B staff during restaurant and banquet operations.
  • Ensure high standards of guest service, food quality, presentation, and cleanliness.
  • Promote restaurant products and services through upselling and suggestive selling.
  • Identify sales opportunities and support the team in achieving restaurant revenue targets.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
  • Coordinate with the Kitchen, Sales, Front Office, and other departments.
  • Monitor staff grooming, attendance, performance, and compliance with hotel standards.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and hotel operating procedures.

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience as an F&B Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role.
  • Previous hotel and banquet experience is required.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant and banquet operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to increase restaurant sales through upselling and customer engagement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and team-management skills.
  • Good knowledge of F&B service standards and food safety procedures.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hotel environment.
  • UAE hospitality experience is advantageous.

Compensation

  • Pay is AED 2,500 to AED 3,000 per month.

  • The role is based in Dubai, UAE.
  • The position requires in-person work.
