Job Description

  • Octave is seeking a Senior Account Manager to drive growth across the Public Sector in Canada. This is a high impact, quota carrying role focused on both expanding existing accounts and winning new business with enterprise software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a portfolio of Public Sector accounts across Canada, driving both net new revenue and expansion within existing customers
  • Build and execute strategic account plans to deepen relationships and identify upsell/cross sell opportunities
  • Generate new pipeline through targeted outreach, networking, and partner collaboration
  • Engage senior stakeholders and position Octave as a long term strategic partner
  • Lead complex deal cycles, including RFP/RFI processes, pricing strategy, and negotiations
  • Develop compelling business cases and ROI driven value propositions
  • Partner cross functionally with consulting, marketing, and customer teams to maximize account growth and customer success
  • Maintain strong pipeline coverage and consistently exceed quota

Education / Qualifications

  • 5+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience with a track record of exceeding quota (CAD 1M+ preferred)
  • Experience selling into Public Sector organizations (Provincial, Local Government, Education)
  • Proven ability to both expand existing accounts and close net new business
  • Strong executive presence and relationship building skills
  • Self starter mentality with the ability to generate pipeline independently
  • Experience selling solutions related to asset management, infrastructure, capital projects, operations management, or compliance within Public Sector organizations is a plus
