- Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot AC and refrigeration systems including chillers, split units, package units, and cold storage equipment
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Repair or replace defective parts including compressors, fans, motors, and filters
- Ensure proper refrigerant charging and leak detection procedures are followed
- Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities and repairs
- Assist in the installation of new AC and refrigeration systems
- Recommend system upgrades and improvements for better energy efficiency
- Ensure all installations comply with hotel and industry safety regulations
- Monitor system performance to optimize energy efficiency and reduce costs
- Handle refrigerants safely and responsibly according to environmental guidelines
- Respond promptly to guest and staff requests regarding temperature or equipment concerns
- Provide technical support and training to other maintenance team members as needed
Requirements
- Experience as an AC & Refrigeration Technician
- Knowledge of AC and refrigeration systems including chillers, split units, package units, and cold storage
- Ability to inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot AC and refrigeration systems
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance and repair/replace defective parts
- Knowledge of refrigerant charging and leak detection procedures
- Ability to maintain documentation and comply with safety regulations
