- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
- At least 6 years of experience in coatings or related industry
- Minimum 4 years in a managerial role
- Strong sales and technical service experience with knowledge of coatings and business operations
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

Summary of the Role
- Lead, manage and further develop Protective & Marine Coatings business operations in Abu Dhabi by developing, communicating and following up all relevant concepts, the key sales growth strategies and action plans in order to achieve strategic goals and actively contribute to the performance and resu
- This position reports to the General Manager and will be based in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and follow up the business operations of Protective & Marine Coatings by regular interaction with the sales team, key customers and other departments in order to lead, develop and manage the sales generation.
- Lead, manage and develop the organization by effectively organizing, delegating and distributing areas of responsibility and authority, by using yPOD/KIT to ensure focus, attention and cost effective business operations in line with strategic directions.
- Participate and contribute actively in the Local Management Team by discussing, influencing and deciding on company strategy in order to drive the company in the right direction and achieve expected results.
- Lead, develop and support staff by clearly advocating and communicating ambitions for professional and career development in line with The Penguin Spirit, to ensure sufficient resources and competence to meet the strategy goals.
- Building and effectively leading a Sales organization through strong network, high local market awareness, hiring, coaching, and retaining employees by providing skills and competence development program to enhance and improve skill set, management effectiveness and sales per salesperson efficiency.
- To maintain DSO by constant review and ensuring strong mechanism for payment collection in order to ensure that it is within the acceptable norms.
What We Are Looking For
- Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Has at least 6 years of experience in the coatings or related industry, including a minimum of 4 years in a managerial role.
- Has strong sales and technical service experience, with good knowledge of coatings and business operations.
- Demonstrates excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Collaborates effectively with cross functional, regional, global, and external teams.
- Is proactive, well organized, and results driven, with strong problem solving skills and the ability to take ownership.
