SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
- As a Receptionist, you will perform full clerical, administrative, and general office duties of a responsible and potentially confidential nature. This position is for an 8 months limited contract for a maternity coverage.
Responsibilities
- Communicates instructions or information to various individuals and/or departments.
- Receives and screens telephone calls, letters, and/or visitors, answering routine questions.
- Schedules appointments and makes arrangements for meetings, conferences, and travel.
- Organises and maintains files of assigned correspondence and records.
- Prepares routine letters and memoranda for signature.
- Prepares special reports, gathering, and summarising data.
- Organises and prepares complex documents requiring integration of multiple office technology.
- Arrange shipments for different departments and Cheque Collections.
- Organises and expedites flow of work through supervisor's office.
