Job Overview

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise daily security operations and monitor security officers across assigned resort areas.
• Control access points, entrances, restricted areas, and contractor, vendor, and visitor access.
• Monitor CCTV systems, alarm systems, and security equipment.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, emergencies, evacuations, and drills.
• Document incidents accurately and escalate issues to the Security Manager when necessary.
• Inspect resort premises for safety and security risks.
• Enforce security policies, procedures, and access control standards.
• Assist with VIP guest security, crowd control, and event safety measures.
• Coordinate operational security needs with other departments.
• Maintain shift handovers and accurate logbook records.
• Conduct toolbox talks and briefings and support staff training.
• Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and guest-focused service standards.

Qualifications Desired

• High school diploma required.
• Diploma or degree in Security Management, Criminology, or a related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in security operations, preferably in hospitality, luxury hotels, or large-scale resorts.
• Prior supervisory security experience is highly preferred.
• Basic certification in first aid, fire safety, or emergency response is advantageous.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control, security procedures, and local safety regulations is required.
• Proficiency in English required; additional languages are advantageous.
• Strong leadership, observation, communication, reporting, problem-solving, conflict management, discretion, and teamwork skills are required.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform patrol duties and the stated physical demands are required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• The role requires movement across work areas, including uneven terrain and confined spaces.
• The position may require prolonged activity, movement, desk work, and computer use during shifts.
• The stated medium-work demands include exerting up to 20 kg occasionally, 10 kg frequently, and 5 kg constantly, with occasional lifting or moving of up to 15 kg.
