Role Overview
Vistas Global is hiring an experienced Security Operations Center Analyst to join its cybersecurity team.
The analyst will monitor, investigate, and respond to security threats across enterprise environments.
Core Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in SOC, cybersecurity operations, incident response, or security monitoring.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Strong experience monitoring network traffic and IPS/IDS alerts.
- Expertise investigating intrusion attempts, exploits, and malicious activities.
- Hands-on experience with incident containment, analysis, eradication, and escalation.
- Strong knowledge of endpoints, servers, databases, operating systems, and networks.
- Understanding of DLP, BYOD, insider threats, perimeter defense, and risk metrics.
- Knowledge of Cyber Kill Chain analysis and cybersecurity threat landscapes.
- Ability to develop and improve SOC procedures, playbooks, and incident response processes.
Preferred Certifications
- CISSP certification is preferred.
- GCIH or GIAC certification is preferred.
- CEH certification is preferred.
- CompTIA Security+ or CySA+ certification is preferred.
- ECIH certification is preferred.
