Role overview
Provide a safe and secure environment at a Securitas site in Romsey.
Protect people, property, assets, and information while delivering high standards of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patrols, monitor CCTV, and control access to protect the site, assets, and people.
- Follow Assignment Instructions and maintain accurate incident logs.
- Enforce site safety and security procedures.
- Report hazards, assist with evacuations, and respond to alarms.
- Prevent loss, theft, and damage, report suspicious activity, and operate security equipment.
- Handle calls, assist visitors, and complete smooth shift handovers.
Requirements
- Must be working towards or hold a valid SIA licence.
- SC clearance and a British passport are stated in the hiring details.
- Previous security officer experience is required.
- Able to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.
- A First Aid qualification is listed in the requirements.
Candidate qualities
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team.
