Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons.
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to check doors, windows, and gates.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as damage, theft, unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent prohibited articles from entering restricted areas.
- Direct traffic and parking on the premises when required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local security regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous security guard experience is preferred, with 0-3 years indicated.
- SIRA/DPS license in Dubai or another relevant UAE security certification is a plus.
- Physically fit and able to stand or walk for long periods.
- Good communication skills in English are required; Arabic or other languages are a plus.
- Basic knowledge of security operations and safety practices.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
Workplace and Employment
- The role is full-time.
- Work is performed in person.
