Job Overview

  • Bring your energy to Aggreko as Sector Sales Specialist Oil & Gas based in Doha.
  • You will have a sales plan (account portfolio) where you will manage and deliver growth within your current customers, target and win back your lapsed customers, and prospect target customers (new clients) with a focus on growth coupled with profitability.
  • First class people skills are essential as well as a tenacity to succeed and be professional in all that you do.
  • The role is 40%/60% split between new business prospecting and existing account growth.

What you’ll do as Sector Sales Specialist Oil & Gas

  • Responsible for targeting, developing & acquiring customers within your sales plan.
  • Motivated to meet and exceed targets. Revenue targets and sales KPI driven.
  • Ensure 3rd party costs are appropriately priced. (Fuel, Freight & Rehire)
  • Commercially astute technical sales professional with significant experience.
  • Target driven and results orientated. With a track record of consistently exceeding your sales and activity KPI targets.
  • Qatar driving license.
  • Good ability to read, write and speak English
  • Establishes and maintain effective working relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Process driven, following Aggreko’s sales process (sector sales excellence), as well as all CRM and CPQ processes. (salesforce)
  • Minimum sales activity requirements and CRM & CPQ compliance requirements.
  • Develop and execute a sales and marketing plan for developing business, including product / sector revenue targets.
  • Identify new customers / business with a view to growing key account portfolio.

Here’s what you’ll get

  • Experience within the temporary power & HVAC / Oil & Gas industry
  • Degree qualification in sales or in a technical discipline OR Minimum 5 years of successful high level sales experience in the industrial services environment. Dedication and commitment to achieving objectives.
  • Experience of selling (or renting) capital equipment or selling a technical / engineering solutions or services. (Solution Selling)
  • Proven track record in delivering results in line with targets set.
