Role Summary
Provide high-level administrative and operational support to the office and line manager.
Manage complex tasks proactively while supporting a fast-paced work environment.
Accountabilities
- Type, proofread, and dispatch outgoing correspondence to a high standard.
- Prioritize and review incoming mail before forwarding it to the line manager.
- Handle routine standardized correspondence and alert the line manager to important matters.
- Coordinate and follow up with internal departments on behalf of the line manager.
- Prepare clear and professional letters for the line manager.
- Maintain an organized filing system for correspondence.
- Attend meetings, record and distribute minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Manage telephone calls and appointments using effective screening and prioritization.
- Establish and update a contact database for the line manager.
- Organize travel arrangements and coordinate external business trips.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum four years of relevant experience, including experience at senior management level.
- Relevant university-level professional qualification or nearing completion of one is favorably viewed.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing change and working as part of a team.
