Job Purpose
Manage accurate financial records, month-end and year-end closing, project-related transactions, and compliance with company policies and UAE accounting and tax requirements.
Work with Project Management, Procurement, Commercial, Contracts, HR, and Operations teams on project costing, revenue recognition, payables, receivables, and financial reporting.
General Accounting
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and accounting records.
- Record and review journal entries, accruals, provisions, prepayments, and adjustments.
- Perform bank, supplier, customer, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end closing.
- Investigate discrepancies and maintain transaction documentation.
Construction and Project Accounting
- Monitor project revenues, costs, expenses, commitments, and WIP.
- Maintain project cost records and allocate expenses to projects and cost centers.
- Coordinate project billing, variations, claims, and certifications.
- Support accounting for subcontractors, suppliers, materials, equipment, manpower, and site expenses.
- Monitor project profitability, budgets, variances, and cost-to-completion information.
