About the Role
Amex Logistics is seeking an experienced Sea Freight Operations Executive to oversee sea freight shipments in Dubai. The role requires 5+ years of sea freight experience, supervisory experience, and knowledge of international shipping.

Responsibilities
- Manage end to end sea freight operations for import, export, and cross trade shipments
- Coordinate with shipping lines, freight agents, transport providers, customs brokers, and clients
- Prepare and review shipping documentation including Bills of Lading, manifests, invoices, and customs related documents
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, trade requirements, and customs procedures
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve operational issues or delays
- Coordinate customs clearance processes and ensure timely cargo delivery
- Communicate shipment updates and operational information to clients and stakeholders
- Negotiate and coordinate freight bookings, schedules, and shipping arrangements
- Monitor operational costs and support profitability objectives
- Maintain accurate shipment records and operational reports
- Support and supervise operational team members when required
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and service standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sea freight operations
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory, team lead, or managerial capacity
- Strong knowledge of international shipping procedures, Incoterms, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and trade compliance
- Experience handling import, export, and cross trade shipments
- Proficiency in logistics software, freight management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational, problem solving, and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet operational deadlines
- Immediate availability required
