Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room, surgical instruments, and equipment according to procedure requirements and infection control standards
- Assist surgeons during cosmetic and related surgical procedures
- Maintain a sterile field, handle instruments, and anticipate surgical needs
- Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and nursing teams to ensure patient safety and smooth workflow
- Perform pre operative checks, participate in time out procedures, and monitor stock and supplies
- Adhere to hospital protocols and support post operative transfer and handover of patients
Requirements
- Valid DHA license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Previous experience as a Scrub Nurse in OT, preferably in cosmetic, plastic, or surgical specialties
- Strong clinical foundation in Nursing and Medicine
- Proficiency in Surgery and Operating Room practices
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Role Description
- Prepare the operating room, surgical instruments, and equipment in accordance with procedure requirements and infection control standards.
- Assist surgeons during cosmetic and related surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile field, handling instruments, and anticipating surgical needs.
- Collaborate closely with surgical, anesthesia, and nursing teams to ensure patient safety, accurate documentation, and smooth workflow.
- Perform pre operative checks, participate in time out procedures, monitor stock and supplies, adhere to hospital protocols, and support post operative transfer and handover of patients.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical foundation in Nursing and Medicine, with ability to apply evidence based practice in a surgical setting.
- Proficiency in Surgery and Operating Room practices, including sterile techniques, instrument handling, and intraoperative patient safety.
- Experience or familiarity with Orthopedic Surgery and other specialized surgical procedures is an advantage.
- Valid DHA license is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Previous experience as a Scrub Nurse in OT, preferably in cosmetic, plastic, or surgical specialties is must.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
