Key Responsibilities
An experienced
Sap Sd (Sales And Distribution) Senior Consultant
is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of order-to-cash (O2C) processes in SAP.
The role requires deep functional expertise, client-facing experience, and the ability to drive end-to-end delivery in
Sap S And 4hana
or
Sap Ecc
environments.
1. Solution Design & Implementation
- Lead end-to-end SAP SD implementations and rollouts
- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional solutions
- Configure core SD components:
- Sales order processing
- Pricing & billing
- Shipping & delivery
- Output determination
2. Advanced Configuration
- Configure and optimize:
- Pricing procedures, condition techniques
- Credit management
- Availability check (ATP)
- Revenue account determination
- Design complex business scenarios and custom solutions
3. Integration Management
- Ensure seamless integration with:
- FI (billing, revenue recognition)
- MM (inventory, procurement)
- PP (production planning)
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end process alignment
4. Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a functional lead in projects
- Interact with business stakeholders and leadership teams
- Mentor junior consultants and guide offshore/onshore teams
5. Support & Optimization
- Provide L3 production support and resolve complex issues
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements
- Drive system enhancements and performance optimization
6. Documentation & Governance
- Prepare functional specifications (FS), solution design documents (SDD)
- Support testing cycles (SIT/UAT)
- Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and project governance
Core Sap Sd Expertise
- Strong experience in:
- Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycle
- Pricing & billing configuration
- Delivery and shipment processes
- Hands-on experience in
Sap S And 4hana
preferred
