Position Overview

  • Client is seeking a dynamic, results oriented Sales Manager / Sales Engineer to expand our market presence in Abu Dhabi.
  • This role is critical for driving revenue through the specification and sale of UPVC, PP R, CPVC, and HDPE piping systems to major building and infrastructure projects.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong technical background in fluid handling or civil engineering, knowledge in Modular Plastic piping systems, and an extensive network of consultants, contractors, and government authorities within Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Expansion: Identify and capture new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and industrial infrastructure sectors.
  • Pipeline Management: Lead the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
  • Revenue Targets: Achieve and exceed annual sales and gross margin objectives.
  • Consultant Mapping: Ensure MPI products are listed in 'Approved Manufacturer' lists.
  • Product Expertise: Deliver technical presentations and seminars to engineers.
  • Compliance: Guarantee adherence to Abu Dhabi authority standards and international certifications (BS, EN, DIN, ISO).
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build long term relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors, developers, and distributors.
  • Authority Approvals: Maintain product approvals with Abu Dhabi government bodies.
  • Market Intelligence: Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and project announcements.
  • Reporting: Maintain CRM records and provide weekly/monthly forecasts.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related technical field (mandatory).
  • MBA or Sales/Marketing certification (advantage).
  • Proven track record of major Abu Dhabi projects. Must
  • Strong network of consultants and contractors.
  • Deep knowledge of thermoplastic piping (UPVC, CPVC, PPR, HDPE).
  • Ability to secure high value contracts.
  • Excellent English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
